Investing in our team: welcoming Camilla Richards and Marcus Foster

Atomico was founded on the idea that great companies can come from anywhere, and the ambition to find the world’s best entrepreneurs and help them scale their companies globally. That means bringing together a team with deep insight, networks, and experience of scaling — from top-tier investment professionals, to our international team across China, Japan, Brazil and Turkey as well as London, to leaders in talent and communications.

We are delighted to welcome two new additions to this team: Camilla Richards and Marcus Foster.

Camilla is our new Head of Investor Relations. Based in London, she oversees fundraising and our relationships with investors across Asia, the US and Europe, from sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and other financial institutions to private investors and entrepreneurs.

She joins us after six years at Apollo Management where she was most recently responsible for investor relations and fundraising for European Principal Finance Funds. She also held several roles at Citigroup as part of the Private Equity Placements and Technology, Media and Telecoms Corporate Finance groups.

Marcus is our new Executive in Residence. Based in London, Marcus helps existing portfolio companies looking to scale their businesses and works on the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and due diligence of new investment opportunities.

Marcus was previously Product Manager at Google, leading work across products including Gmail, Google Sync, Android UI and Display Ads over an 8 year period. Prior to Google he was Head of Mobile Products for Yahoo! Europe.
