Heysan is a mobile community and instant messaging service with over 1 million users worldwide. Every month tens of millions fo messages flow through Heysan's community making it one of the larger mobile communities in the US.

The company is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2007 by four European entrepreneurs, Gustaf Alstromer, Marie Brattberg, Par Lindhe and Michael Ossareh with the help of the startup program Y Combinator. It has since then raised a seed round from Atomico and Khosla Ventures.

Heysan was acquired by Good Technology in May 2009.
