Fashiolista is a simple, yet powerful concept that allows users to curate and share their fashion tastes with others. A simple toolbar button adds the item you are browsing to your personal collection on Fashiolista.com. If you like the collections of others you can follow them in order to receive updates – this enables a more socially orientated shopping experience. There is also a customisable Fashiolista widget that runs on 3rd party sites displaying the most relevant fashion collections to their users.
Users can also ‘love’ items and by doing so raise the profile of other users so they can build a larger following.
Fashiolista was founded by Joost Nauta and Thijs Goos and it is based in Amsterdam. Atomico co-invested with Michiel Muller and Marc Schroder, both prominent Dutch angel investors.
