Chris Dark

Chris Dark is a Senior Investment Manager at Atomico.

Chris joined Atomico in early 2010 and his responsibilities include deal flow, conducting the due diligence process, negotiation, and advising portfolio companies on strategy and operations.

Prior to Atomico, Chris was the European Director of Product Strategy at AOL, mainly focused on the commercialisation of new products across both Advertising.com European networks and AOL-owned sites.

He also worked for Bain & Company, the global strategy consultancy firm, on over 20 projects including private equity due diligence with international PE firms, and also corporate strategy, cost reduction, and operational improvement in several FTSE 100 companies.

In addition, Chris has been an entrepreneur for over 7 years and is the Founder of GameReplays.org an online computer game community focused on eSports.

Chris holds a First Class Masters in Materials Science, and a PhD in High Temperature Superconductors, both from Oxford University.
