Based in Brazil, Haroldo Korte joined the Investment Team in 2010, and helps to cover Latin America. Haroldo holds a business administration degree from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (EAESP-FGV). He started working at Andrade Gutierrez, the Brazilian conglomerate, in 1989 as a commercial supervisor for the works of the São Paulo subway. Three years later, he went to Banco Garantia to integrate the team responsible for managing the bank’s international operations (Garantia Banking Limited). In 1992 Haroldo was invited to join the management of Grupo Itamarati where he was responsible for new business development and launched several key telecom groups. Haroldo was also elected member of the board of directors at Crefisul Bank. In 1997 he moved to France, where he co-founded Outras Imagens, an online image bank, with operations in six Latin American countries, which licensed images to major corporations including RMN, National Geographic, New York Times, Grupo Hachette and AFP.
