Chris is a Senior Investment Manager at Atomico, and focuses on the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and due diligence of investment opportunities. He joined the firm in in February 2010, and is a former European Director of Product Strategy at AOL and management consultant at Bain.
Whilst at AOL Chris led a team of 20 Product Managers across nine European countries focusing on the development, deployment and commercialization of innovative new online advertising products across AOL’s own properties, their advertising.com network, and their Buy.at affiliate network. At Bain, Chris led due diligence teams for over 10 deals with top-tier private equity firms, and also consulted for over a dozen blue chip companies, with projects ranging from operational improvement, through to high-level strategy, across several diverse industries.
In addition, Chris has been an entrepreneur for over seven years and is the Founder of GameReplays.org, an online computer game community focused on eSports. Chris holds a First Class Masters in Materials Science, and a PhD in High Temperature Superconductors, both from Oxford University.
